Wedding Daze Soundtrack

Hem's song "The Fire Thief" is on the Wedding Daze soundtrack, to be released August 21, 2007. My guess is that somebody in the movie (in theaters August 16, 2007) needs to take comfort now. Home Again, Home Again Songs

The song credits for all the tunes on Hem's new-ish EP Home Again, Home Again are now all on the EP's page. Before, some songs were simply credited to Hem. Now you can see which of the new songs are the first trio-collaborations to be written and released by the band.

July 1 Freehold, NJ Show

Home Again, Home Again Update

I've received official word from the Hem team that the physical CD release of the Home Again, Home Again EP should happen in late July or early August. When I know a more specific date, I'll post it here in the news and on the discography page. If you can't wait for the CD, the beautiful EP is available now for download through a variety of online retailers like iTunes, eMusic, and Nettwerk.

Mandy Moore + Hem

Hem co-wrote a song on the expanded edition of Mandy Moore's new album Wild Hope. The song "Could Have Been Watching You" is one of two bonus tracks on the special edition of the CD only available at Target stores. Down memory lane, read Mandy's blog from May 21, 2006 where she talks about writing with the band. She also mentions Hem's May 15, 2006 Knitting Room show, and you can go even further down memory lane with concert pictures.

Another June 26 Boston Symphony Hall Show Review

There's yet another good review of Hem's June 26 concert at Boston's Symphony Hall, this one at Boston Music Spotlight. However, it was Steve, not Gary, who caused the "Reservoir" restart (sorry, Steve), and Sally's dress was more emerald than turquoise (see?), but the review is spot on with its "enchanting" description of the show.
